Arrival

Arrival

Pacing, waiting, looking

When, forever, at last

Wanting something so bad

Check again, keep looking,

Hearing arrival

We share that excitement

Its coming

Its coming

Your hope or a hope?

Surprise arrives

Better or worse

The gears of change turn

Meteoric or microscopic

Its coming

Arrival

In Victor Frankl’s book he describes his life inside a German concentration camp and a tremendous insight he had about those who were enduring, versus those who gave up and died. All things being equal in terms of extreme hardship he found those prisoners who, had long term hope and dreams of what they would do when they were finally released, endured, versus those who clung on to hope that the Allies would free them by Christmas, and when the immediate help didn’t arrive they sunk into great depression and death. Important is the long term certainty that change is happening, even when we can’t see it. Like this painting I created that shows a force, like a meteor, is racing through space and will influence everything in path. Believe Hope.
